This MoMA NY Yankees Baseball Cap is inspired by the 2017–2018 MoMA exhibition Items: Is Fashion Modern? The exhibition explored the past and present—and in some cases also the future—of 111 items that have had a strong impact on history and society in the 20th and 21st centuries. A New Era baseball cap is an object in MoMA's collection.
